Visit the BRS eCitizen Portal at https://brs.ecitizen.go.ke/ and log in using your credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Make Application’ section to begin the process.
Select the ‘Official Search (CR12)’ option for Private Limited Companies.
Proceed by clicking the ‘Apply Now’ button to start the application.
Input the ‘Registration Name or Number’ of the entity you wish to search for.
From the search results, select the correct company and click ‘Next’.
If the company status is ‘Verified’, provide your postal address, email, and phone number.
Click ‘Save and Continue’ to proceed to the next step.
Confirm that all provided information is accurate by checking the confirmation box.
Finish the process by paying the applicable fee of Ksh. 650.
Log in as a director, director-shareholder, or company secretary and select ‘Link Business’.
Input the business name or registration number, then select the business and click ‘Next’.
Enter or update the business details including name, registration number, type, and date.
Fill in the nature of the business and your capacity within the company.
Provide details of the registered office addresses as required.
Add information about shares, including category, number, and value.
Enter personal details of all directors/shareholders and beneficial ownership information.
Download the Beneficial Ownership Information Form, sign it, upload, and submit for review.
